Teen Roles:
Hailey: HS Senior, strong faith, wants to make a real difference, spiritual leader, strong face, good friends with Jess
Aaron: HS Senior, athletic, leader of the pack, focused, nice looking, rugged looking
Jess: HS Senior, wrapped up in her senior year, stand offish but likeable
Bobby: HS Senior, friend of Aaron
Clark: HS Senior, friend of Aaron, a cut-up, with a sharp sense of humor
Drew: HS Senior, friend of Aaron, a bit disheveled, quirky, class clown
Rachel: HS Senior, friend of Hailey
Zoe & Claire: Senior theatre friends of the core group
All above require some dance and singing skills.
Adult Roles:
Marc Rivera: wise, compassionate, strong faith, school janitor and handyman, late 40’s to early 50′s
Katherine Rivera: Wife of Marc, strong faith, suffering with Multiple Sclerosis, wheelchair bound, late 40’s or early 50’s
Mrs. Rivera: Mother of Marc, retired, in a nursing home, quick witted, wise, strong faith
Mr. Stephens: Mid 40’s, tall, intimidating, distinguished teacher, hostile to Christianity, arrogant, pompous
Anita Thomas: School principle, busy, professional but approachable, middle-aged woman
Aaron’s mother: Middle-aged, loving, single mom
Mat Staver: High level attorney, heading up a national advocacy group, late 40′s or early 50′s
Mr. Harris: Middle-aged, no non-sense man, president of the school board
D.A. Ben Warren: Middle-aged, loves to hear his own eloquence, district attorney
Judge Brooks Davis: mid-50′s, kindly and thin with glasses, district judge
Several extra speaking and non-speaking roles are also available, some requiring dance and singing skills.
